Position is for nonprofit with office and residential locations in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties. Performs routine and preventative maintenance/repair and other duties as needed. Coordinates with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other vendors. Basic knowledge of and experience with maintenance/repair required. Vehicle and some tools provided.
Part-Time Direct Care Staff for Whatcoat Shelter
Part-time position working with families and individuals who are homeless. Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be at least 21 years old and pass all required background checks.
Part-Time Domestic Violence Support Staff for SAFE Program
Part-time position for the SAFE Program in Sussex county for the overnight shifts. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include working with adult and children survivors of domestic violence in a shelter facility, answering a 24-hour domestic violence hotline, and ensuring there is a safe and non-violent environment for residents of the shelter.
Full-Time Case Manager for Girls Group Home
Full-time position for Girls Group Home to work closely with 13 - 18 year old females residing in the home. Duties will include completing a variety of reports and developing plans, maintaining extensive contact with families, DFS, CASA's, GAL's, therapists, schools and other community partners. Additional duties will include facilitating and particpating in consultations and court hearings. The case manager will follow-up on the needs of the youth including medical and mental health treatment (appointments) and other related tasks to aid in growth and development of the youth. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Counseling/Social Work or related field) is required, in addition to 2 years of related work experience. The incumbent must be detail oriented, able to work well independently and in a team setting. Work hours will include some evening and weekend hours.
Part-Time Clerical Assistants for Counseling Centers
Part -time position in our Smyrna Outpatient Mental Health Facility and another Part-time position in our Milford location. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, and other clerical duties. Experience preferred in Mental Health setting. Must be organized and detail-oriented. Hours 20 - 24 per week.
Part-time Family Visitation Worker
PT FAMILY VISITATION WORKER needed for Visitation Center program. Travel is to our locations in Georgetown, Milford and Dover and requires working weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Family Visitation Center by ensuring a safe, healthy environment for supervised visits and monitored exchanges between non-custodial parents/relatives and children. Education: Associates of Arts (A.A.) degree in Social Work, Child Development or Human Services preferred. High School/G.E.D. diploma required. Spanish a plus.
PT Direct Care Staff for RAD (Milford & Townsend)
Must be available for days, evenings, overnights, weekend, and holiday shifts. Must be 21 years of age, pass all required checks, and have a good driving record. High school diploma/GED is required. Experience working with youth and/or in a trauma setting is helpful. Responsibilities include positively interacting with males and females ages 8 to 19 with criminal charges in a structured residential setting; providing support and guidance to clients while teaching life skills, including social responsibility and personal growth and change. Position may require activity planning and implementation.
PT Domestic Violence Support Staff for Abriendo Puertas Program in Sussex County
Part-time shifts available: overnights and some weekdays, evenings, weekends, & holidays. Responsibilities include working in a trauma-informed shelter facility, answering 24-hour domestic violence hotline, ensuring there is a safe and non-violent environment, providing support services. Must be bilingual (Spanish).
PT Direct Care Staff for Girl’s Group Home
Part-time position available for day, evening and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include working with traumatized adolescent girls in foster care, ages 13 - 18 yrs., teaching life skills, providing a safe & non-violent environment and providing support and guidance to youth in the home. Experience working with youth and/or in a trauma setting is helpful. Must be at least 21 yrs old, pass all required checks and have a good driving record. High School Diploma/GED required.
