FT Program Director II

One (1) exempt full-time position for our two (2) Residential Alternative to Detention (RAD) facilities in Milford and Townsend.  Position requires hours beyond the standard work day, including weekends.  Applicant must be 21 years of age, have a satisfactory driving record and criminal background.  Must possess a Bachelor's Degree and four years post bachelors human services experience.  Experience working with youth  and/or in a trauma setting is preferred.  Responsibilities included:  supervision and positive interactions with full-time and part-time staff in both homes; and providing support and guidance to ensure program standards.  Basic human resources functions, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling.  Positively interacting with residents, males and females ages 8 to 19 with criminal charges in a structured, safety-based residential program.  Ability to positively and professionally communicate on behalf of People's Place to State staff and officials, court staff, client families, and the community.

FT Case Manager for Abriendo Puertas

Full-time position for the Abriendo Puertas program in Sussex County, providing case management to victims of domestic violence living in shelter and /or in the community.  Develop case plans and establish goals based on their individual needs.  Associates degree in Human Services/related field or equivalent experience/training required in the field of domestic violence.  Must be fluent in Spanish, able to work independently, and make appropriate referrals to local resources.  Must pass all required background checks and have good driving record.

FT Case Manager for Girls Group Home

Full-time position for Girls Group Home to work closely with 13-18 year old females residing in the home. Duties will include completing a variety of reports and developing plans, maintaining extensive contact with familes, DFS, CASA's, GAL's, therapists, schools and other community partners.  Additional duties will include facilitating and participating in consultations and court hearings.  The case manager will follow-up on the needs of the youth including medical and mental health treatment (appointments) and other related tasks to aid in growth and development of the youth.  A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Counseling/Social Work or related field) is required, in addition to 2 years of related work experience.  The incumbent must be detail oriented, able to work well independently and in a team setting.  Work hours will include some evening  and weekend hours.

PT FAMILY VISITATION WORKER needed for Visitation Center program.  Travel is to our locations in Georgetown, Milford and Dover and requires working weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Family Visitation Center by ensuring a safe, healthy environment for supervised visits and monitored exchanges between non-custodial parents/relatives and children.  Education: Associates of Arts (A.A.) degree in Social Work, Child Development or Human Services preferred. High School/G.E.D. diploma required. Spanish a plus.
