Full-time position working within shelter, hotline and advocacy program for battered women and children. Position requires scheduling and supervision of residential staff, hiring, training and evaluating staff, and compiling statistical reports for grant reporting purposes. Must be able to work closely with both staff and clients in a trauma-informed, team setting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training required, supervisory experience required and strong computer and organizational skills needed. Must pass all required background checks and have good driving record.
Full-Time TEMPORARY Case Manager (Residential Alternative to Detention-Townsend)
FT TEMPORARY Case Manager for Townsend RAD location. Position requires some weekends, additional hours outside the standard workday, and ability to be on-call. Must be 21 years of age, pass all required checks, and have a good driving record. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience working with youth and prior case management experience a plus. Some responsibilities include communicating with State personnel in a timely manner, direct care support as needed, assistance with program operations, completion of required reports, attend court hearings with residents, advocate on behalf of the program and residents to courts, professional communication with parents, caseworkers, staff members, and visitors.
Full-time Temporary Case Manager (Independent Living Program-New Castle)
FT Temporary Case Manager, working with youth in foster care in New Castle County. Must have flexible schedule and experience with managing heavy caseloads. AA degree in Human Services or equivalent experience. Must pass all background checks and have a good driving record. Part-time Domestic Violence Support Staff
PT Domestic Violence Support Staff for the SAFE Program in Sussex county. 3pm-11pm shift - Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include working with adult and children survivors of domestic violence in a shelter facility, answering a 24-hour domestic violence hotline, ensuring there is a safe and non-violent environment for residents of the shelter, and providing support services to residents and children.
Full-time Teen Advocate for Girls Group Home
FT position for Girls Group Home to work closely with 13-18 year old females residing in the home. Duties will include completing a variety of reports & developing plans, maintaining extensive contact with families, DFS, CASA's, GALS's, therapists, schools and other community partners. Additional duties will include facilitating and participating in consultations and court hearings. The advocate will follow up on the needs of the youth, including medial and mental health treatment (appointments) and other related tasks to aid in the growth and development of the youth. Bachelor's Degree in Counseling/Social Work or related field is required, in addition to 2 years of related work experience. The incumbent must be detail oriented, able to work well independently and in a team setting. Work hours may vary to include some evening and weekend hours.
PT Direct Care Staff for RAD (Milford & Townsend)
Must be available for days, evenings, overnights, weekend, and holiday shifts. Must be 21 years of age, pass all required checks, and have a good driving record. High school diploma/GED is required. Experience working with youth and/or in a trauma setting is helpful. Responsibilities include positively interacting with males and females ages 8 to 19 with criminal charges in a structured residential setting; providing support and guidance to clients while teaching life skills, including social responsibility and personal growth and change. Position may require activity planning and implementation.
PT Domestic Violence Support Staff for Abriendo Puertas Program in Sussex County
Part-time shifts available: overnights and some weekdays, evenings, weekends, & holidays. Responsibilities include working in a trauma-informed shelter facility, answering 24-hour domestic violence hotline, ensuring there is a safe and non-violent environment, providing support services. Must be bilingual (Spanish).
PT Direct Care Staff for Girl’s Group Home
Part-time position available for day, evening and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include working with traumatized adolescent girls in foster care, ages 13 - 18 yrs., teaching life skills, providing a safe & non-violent environment and providing support and guidance to youth in the home. Experience working with youth and/or in a trauma setting is helpful. Must be at least 21 yrs old, pass all required checks and have a good driving record. High School Diploma/GED required.
PT Direct Care Staff for Whatcoat Program
Part-time position working alternating Saturday and Sundays from 8:30am- 4pm working with families & individuals who are homeless. Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be at least 21 years old and pass all required background checks.
