The Domestic Violence Community Health Advocate (DV-CHA) full-time position at Turning Point is an essential part of a collaborative statewide effort to address the need for accessible community-based health and safety services for victims of intimate partner violence. The DV-CHA will engage trauma-informed best practices and work directly with victims of intimate partner violence providing direct advocacy and support, safety planning, case management, and connections to supportive services in the community. The DV-CHA will build capacity for connections to supportive services through increasing linkages to community services. Must be bilingual (Fluent Spanish & English); multicultural background preferred. Associate degree or equivalent in a related field such as Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent experience with domestic violence and trauma is required. Data entry, organizational skills, and team collaboration are required. Position requires some travel and personal vehicle. Must have a valid Delaware driver's license and pass all required background checks.
