Donations Update - March 23, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution for our staff, clients, and community, People’s Place will be following all emergency guidelines implemented by the CDC and Delaware Public Health as they are updated.

After much consideration and to reduce the spread of the coronavirus we are no longer accepting clothing or household donations at our Administration building located at 1129 Airport Road in Milford.  However, we would be grateful for your continued support by making monetary donations or using an online shopping site for direct delivery to us for our residential programs which include 3 domestic violence shelters, a homeless shelter and a foster youth home.   These items are in great demand:

• Disposable gloves
• Disposable masks
• Disposable thermometers
• Disinfecting wipes
• Paper towels
• Disinfecting cleaning products
• Hand sanitizer
• Tylenol for adults and kids

Thank you again for your contributions during this challenging time and understanding that the decisions we make are in the best interest and safety of all.  Now more than ever we are committed to continue providing the critical services we are known for throughout Delaware and upholding our mission to “help people find their path to growth and independence”.
