Delaware Community Foundation Capital Grant Awarded

The People's Place organization has received a $17,000.00 grant from the Delaware Community Foundation through their 2015 Capital Grants Program.  The agency was one of twenty-one selected for funding.

This award will provide funding to repair and upgrade the People's Place parking lot located on Airport Road.  Two buildings are located at this address and are home to five of the agency's eleven programs along with its administrative offices.

People's Place wishes to thank the Delaware Community Foundation for their consideration and approval of this grant request.  Years of traffic in and out of the parking lot, weather, and the 450-500 vehicles a week that use this address have contributed to its deterioration. We are grateful for the award which will enable us to schedule the project and we look forward to continue serving Delaware residents.
