DCADV Spirit of Advocacy Award

| People's Place would like to congratulate Janell Stanton, Program Director for the SAFE Program; this year's recipient of the Spirit of Advocacy award! Janell was recognized for this distinguished honor at the Delaware Coalition Against Domestic Violence Purple Ribbon Event on October 7, 2021. The Spirit of Advocacy award is presented for outstanding advocacy and voice for survivors through a deep commitment and work toward change at both the individual and societal level. Janell believes in the strength of the human spirit and has been working with domestic violence survivors at People's Place for the last ten years. We are extremely proud of Janell and for all she does to better the lives of survivors and for the support she provides to staff. |
