CrossFit Lewes Share the Pain 3 - A Success

CrossFit Lewes members and Delaware State Police troopers came together to raise money for domestic violence survivors on May 17, 2015 in Lewes, DE.  The CrossFit Lewes Share the Pain event was created a few years ago to raise funds for a local charity.  People's Place is extremely grateful that CrossFit Lewes chose to support the SAFE Program for the second year in a row.  Months of preparation and hard work went into this highly successful competition/fundraiser and this year the group raised over $47,000.00.  One hundred percent of this money will be used to assist domestic violence survivors that are transitioning into safe and abusive free homes of their own. These costs include; first month's rent, security deposits, mattresses, childcare, household basic needs, food, and the list goes on and on.

CrossFit Lewes Share the Pain is also made possible by the many corporate donations that were received this year.  A special thanks to Hero Sponsors - Kids Cottage and The Atlantic Theaters.  Additional significant sponsorship was provided by Atlantic Transportation Services, Schell Brothers, IG Burton, and Anderson Carpet and Flooring.
