2022 People’s Place Volunteer of the Year
It is with great pleasure that People's Place has named Ms. Christine Tomalin our 2022 Volunteer of the Year.
Ms. Tomalin was nominated by Center for Community Justice Program Director, Stacey Lawson, who describes her as "an invaluable asset" to CCJ. Christine has been a volunteer mediator for the program since 2016 with many years of experience in education, administration and court mediation. When presenting the award, Ms. Lawson shared that Ms. Tomalin is very generous of her time when assisting with mediation cases and has traveled from her residence in lower Delaware to Dover to help conduct cases held after normal business hours. Ms. Lawson, as well as the agency, is grateful for Ms. Tomalin's commitment to the mediation program and People's Place mission. She is not only a strong supporter of both, but has also been instrumental in helping find and train new CCJ Volunteer Mediators from her community.
