2015 Annual Breakfast Awards

Approximately 125 staff members and local dignitaries attended the People's Place Annual Breakfast on May 20, 2015 at the Milford Senior Center.  Guests were treated to a wonderful breakfast buffet prepared by the staff at the Milford Senior Center and  Executive Director, Del Failing went over the Annual Report and the number of individuals each program served during the fiscal year.  Following his presentation, each of the People's Place Program Directors were announced and their staff members recognized.  The breakfast concluded with the annual award ceremony to deserving recipients for their service and dedication to the organization.  This years winners were:

• 2015 Employee of the Year                                Debra McKenna, SAFE Program
• 2015 Employee of the Year                                Susan Beneventano, Counseling Center
• 2015 Rookie of the Year                                     Otelia Taylor, Whatcoat Social Services
• 2015 Individual Volunteer of the Year               Barbara Perkins
• 2015 Group Volunteer of the Year                     Leadership Central Delaware Class of 2015
• 2015 People Helping People Award                Rev. Deacon Dorothy Vuono and the Circle of Light
