State Farm Insurance Donates to Independent Living Program

People's Place and its Independent Living Program would like to thank State Farm agent, Mr. Dan Dougherty and State Farm Insurance for their generous support! On July 17, 2020 a check was presented to Independent Living Case Manager, Suzan Dougherty from the State Farm Charitable Matching Gift Program. The donation will be used to provide assistance to current and foster youth ages 16-21 by giving them the opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency, reach and maintain their maximum potentional and live in safe and healthy environments. Case Managers from the Independent Living program assist youth in the areas of job search and accessing training, educational planning, housing assistance, money management, social skill and accessing community resources.
