Donations Update
posted Friday, Jun 12, 2020
People’s Place is continuing to monitor COVID-19 and follow the State of Delaware and CDC recommendations for the safety and health of our staff, donors and clients. We will continue to provide the community with updated information regarding our services as restrictions are lifted.
Normal donation drop-offs are expected to resume in the future but presently we are only able to accept the following items:
If you have a donation listed above that you would like to deliver please call 422-8033 ext. 198 or email krigby@peoplesplace2.com to schedule an appointment.
Shopping online? Check out our Amazon wish list by logging in at https://smile.amazon.com/ and selecting our nonprofit for added convenience and safety. Monetary donations are always appreciated and can be mailed to 1129 Airport Rd., Milford, DE 19963 or made online at www.peoplesplace2.com.
Donations will be accepted by appointment at our Administration Building on 1129 Airport Road, Milford on Monday through Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with following new safety guidelines:
· Due to limited office staff please confirm your scheduled appointment time before arriving.
· Please bring an itemized list and value of your donations or ask for donation form when you get to the office. If you need a form one of staff members will safely slip the paperwork through a partially opened window.
· All donations should be placed inside your trunk or in the last row of your SUV type vehicle in order to maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
· Pull up to front door of the rear building and remain in your car until staff come out to greet you. If you have waited over 5 minutes please knock on glass outside door and return to car.
· Pop up trunk or open door where donations are located and a staff member will remove all items for you.
· People’s Place staff will be wearing masks and will practice social distancing.
Our highest priority is the safety, health and well-being of our dedicated employees, donors, and clients and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you back when we can safely do so.
Thank you for your continued support during this uncertain time in our history and together we will get through this crisis and come out even stronger.
Wishing you and your loved one’s health and safety.
